Our Story
In May 2018, I was diagnosed with Stage 4 throat cancer affecting my voice box. I underwent intense chemotherapy and radiation, and the radiation burned my throat and the skin on the outside of my neck.
I was given topical creams to help, but they weren’t enough. Someone suggested raw aloe vera and vitamin E oil. I purchased an aloe vera plant and natural vitamin E oil and began using them on my neck.
By the grace of God, I am here today—healed from cancer and with my neck restored from the burns.
That experience inspired me to begin creating body creams for myself and my family using raw, unrefined shea butter and other natural ingredients. Through that journey and a prompting from God, Made in His Image (MIHI) was born.
What started as a personal journey of healing became a passion for creating natural, nourishing bodycare products for others. MIHI is more than bodycare—it is a reminder that we are all Made in His Image.Describe the starting point.
